TANKER Foundation invites nominees for annual award

The TANKER Foundation, a non-profit charitable trust, has invited nominations for its annual awards for service and research.

The eligibility criteria for The Renny Abraham TANKER Foundation Love For Service Award 2027 include being a medical doctor and a resident of India engaged in community service for at least five years. The last date for nominations is December 15, 2026. There is no age limit. The award will carry a cash prize of ₹1,00,000, a citation and a gold medallion.

Additionally, TANKER foundation and the K.V. George Foundation have invited applications for the K.V. George Kottukulam Memorial TANKER Foundation Young Investigator Award 2027 for young researchers in nephrology.

The eligibility criteria include being below 45 years of age; the primary researcher must have been a major contributor; and having conducted the research in India. The research must be an outstanding contribution towards understanding kidney diseases, must be of relevance to India, should not have been presented elsewhere, and the consent of co-investigators is needed. The award will carry a cash prize of ₹2,00,000, a citation, and a gold medallion.

The last date for submission is December 15, 2026.
