How this works
TDEE = BMR × activity multiplier (1.2 sedentary up to 1.9 extremely active). This is the standard Harris-Benedict/Mifflin activity-scaling approach used by most nutrition apps.

Frequently asked questions
Should I eat exactly my TDEE?
Eating at TDEE maintains weight. To lose weight, most guidelines suggest a 10–20% deficit; to gain, a similar surplus — see the Daily Calorie Calculator.
